MITCON International School organised Anusandhan – A Gyan Vigyaan Event, an annual Math-Science Fair on Saturday, 08 February , 2020 which emulated the hope and aspirations of the students in becoming the geniuses of tomorrow. The event was held to provide a platform for students to display their critical thinking, knowledge, creativity, along with collaborative, cognitive and psychomotor skills.
The entire school participated in the fair enthusiastically. The students of Preprimary displayed some astounding projects like Tornado in a bottle, Shadow formation, Secrets of Gravity, Windmill, Newton’s Disc, Day & Night Formation, Fun with Addition etc. which were highly conspicuous. The way the tiny tots presented them were greatly appreciated by the spectators.
The Primary students made projects based on the various topics they learnt in the class. The Simple Balance, Types of Houses, Rainwater harvesting, The Life Cycle of a Frog, Sources of Water, Types of Clocks, The Solar System, Natural Water Filter, DAD (Day of any date), Seasons Wheel were some of the attractive projects.
The Middle School students were assiduous in making and presenting models. The students were all excited to explain and illustrate their innovative ideas. Projects like Obstacle Avoiding Robot, Robo Bike, Sewage Water Treatment Plant, Air Cooler, Vacuum Cleaner, Pythagoras Cup caught the eye of the visitors.
The Art Club also displayed a creative corner. Of which, the setup of an igloo was worth appreciating. Parents were invited to motivate the students’ venture.They were really impressed to see such a magnificent work done by the students. Overall, the fair was a grand success as the feedback given by the parents was very positive and really lifted the spirits of the students to do such excellent work in the future too.
The Principal, Ms. Monika Chhabra took the initiative of encouraging the students to put up such an enriching event which motivated the students to give their best.
The quote by Albert Einstein, “Genius is when an idea and the execution of that idea are simultaneous” was made evident by the event Anusandhaan at MITCON International School.
