“Purple Colour is associated with wisdom and dignity”
On Friday, 29 November’2019, our pre-primary students celebrated Purple Colour Day. Classrooms and Boards were decorated with Purple coloured objects. Staff and students dressed in Purple looked commendable in their apparels and gave a feeling of aristocracy. Students looked dazzling in their purple attires.
Students brought Purple colour objects like Balloon, Brinjal, Grapes, Purple Cabbage, Purple colour flower, etc. They also participated in activity based on the day’s theme. These objects were displayed and discussed in the class. They shared the objects with their friends and enjoyed the activity thoroughly. This activity inculcated the habit of sharing and caring. They also learnt about different purple colored objects that were brought by other classmates.
In order to enhance the recognition of Purple color, our students performed activities which were specially planned by their teachers to make the day special. Students had a take away activity like grapes using bubble wrap print, made a beautiful card of flower by thumb print with purple colour and also penguin puppet made by chart paper. This day gave the tiny tots an opportunity to identify various items associated with the color and the entire experience strengthened their learning in an enjoyable manner. The purpose of celebration with education was fulfilled
