Safety And Festivity go hand in hand at MITCON!! To sensitize our students about a personal safety, a session on Good Touch and Bad Touch was conducted on occasion of Diwali on Wednesday, 11 November 2020.
An informative short movie was screened for students which educated them on how to discriminate between good touch and bad touch.
Objective of such informative session was to make them aware of their personal safety. Whether normal time or a pandemic situation, this kind of education is very important to ensure that they grow emotionally strong and physically safe in order to lead a normal and happy life.
To spread the joy and happiness on occasion of Diwali celebrations, MIS conducted a Fireless Cooking Session. Since ladoo is a favourite sweet amongst youngsters and as it is just apt for the occasion, students were taught to make ladoos.
Ladoos made of roasted chana daal were not just yummy but healthy too. The laddos were made with the ingredients which are readily available at home. Use of roasted chana dal, ghee, sugar, cardamom and cashew was pertinent for the cold season.
Students were instructed how to grind the ingredients using a grinder with the adult supervision. They enjoyed getting their hands in ghee loaded chana dal powder. Trying to shape the ladoos round was an amusing task. Students of Preprimary and grades 1 & 2 were dressed up in the traditional attire to enjoy the festivity. Mothers were equally pleased to receive a helping hand in making Diwali sweets. Parents and students of all grades adored this day full of activities.
