Why CBSE? – Ms. Monika Chhabra, Principal

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) is a national level board of education in India for public and private schools, controlled and managed by Union Government of India. It is the national board of our country.
So why is CBSE preferred?
Besides maintaining uniformity among all students across India, CBSE has a number of advantages
over other boards that not only have to do with academics but also with the holistic development of your child. It is a very interactive and student friendly board that encourages healthy competition.
This board allows your child to build a strong base. CBSE has many projects that are leadership and volunteer spirit oriented. It aims at instilling values in your child that build character and takes them forward in life. CBSE also emphasises on a skill-based syllabus and prepares your child for competitive and governmental examinations. Major nationalized competitive exams like JEE are conducted by CBSE. CBSE is now moving towards a more international approach in its examination patterns and marking schemes. Besides quality education, CBSE also focusses on physical literacy and growth of students.
CBSE is an apt choice for students of all aptitudes and calibres. It focusses on providing a favourable environment for stress-free learning. CBSE is not just an academic choice; it’s a choice that one makes for a lifetime.

MITCON International School is aligned with these CBSE objectives and guidelines. We ensure that sports are integrated with our curriculum for overall wellbeing of your child. Extracurricular activities and projects along with competitions that we conduct help build overall social skills and values in our students.
